The Story of Woodland Furniture
In 1986, Woodland School closed their doors for the last time. This was very sad for all the people who dearly loved this old home school. Many generations had passed through its doors and the town was afraid that now they may lose all hope and esteem. They held a closed auction for the buildings, and the Bullard family offered a bid. After much thought, they decided that the area needed an outlet for their local made upholstery. The Bullards turned the old gym into a store, and thus began Woodland Wholesale Retail Furniture. Since 1986 the store has grown to be the largest furniture store in Mississippi. Within their 425,000 square feet operation, you can find items for the bedroom, dining room, office, rugs, patio furniture, nursery, living room, Christmas season, hunting season, a local finance company and much more. Through all of our accomplishments, we at Woodland Furniture know that you the customer are the heart of it all.
