    Credit Card Policies

     

    Return Policy with Credit Card Purchases

    No Refunds will be issued for Credit Card Purchases. Customers will receive an in-store credit only for all returned merchandise that was purchased with a credit card.

     

    Discounted Purchases

    Some Discounted, Close-Out, or Discontinued merchandise is priced as cash price only and Credit Cards cannot be used for purchasing these specific items.

    Delivery Policy

     

     

    Procedure

    Woodland Delivery has provided Woodland Furniture with Delivery Sheets for each customer to fill out. Upon pick-up of that furniture by the delivery service, Woodland Furniture opens and inspects most merchandise. However, at the customer's request, the merchandise may be left in the original boxes. The furniture is then delivered to the customer at a charge of $2.00 per mile one way. Unfortunately, the expected time or date of delivery is only an estimated time and not to be used as an exact time pin-point. Since Woodland Delivery is a separate service from Woodland Furniture, time is an issue. If the customer wants additional services, such as home set-up of any items, that customer will be charged an additional fee based on time and effort. Some chairs and other pieces are assembled at an additional cost. We do not deliver Upstairs. Woodland Delivery Service does not assemble "KD or RTA" furniture such as the brand Sauder.

    Finance Policy

    As a general policy, Woodland Furniture does all contracts through Wells Fargo in Grenada, MS

    Terms are as follows:

    • Straight Contract -- Wells Fargo offers any contract over $250 as a regular finance deal. The customer has between 12 and 48 months to pay off the contract with 24% finance charge.
    • Same As Cash -- 12 months, 6 months, or 90 days SAC. These contracts are based on minimums and qualifications.
      • · The customer must have flawless credit. If any problems are found, the customer is disqualified as a Same As Cash (SAC) contract.
      • · No SAC contract can exceed $10,000. Also, each SAC option is based on minimum purchases. These purchases can be combined from all three sections of Woodland Furniture.
      • · Wells Fargo charges Woodland Furniture for the privilege of offering SAC plans to our customers. Because of our very low margins, Woodland Furniture is forced to pass this extra charge on to our customer. Hence, if the customer chooses the option of a SAC program, in most cases that customer will be charged an extra percent to receive that free service.
      • Listed below is the SAC option amount and percentage to be paid per option:

    12 months SAC

    $ 1750 - 1800

    2%

    6 months SAC

    1250 - 1300

    2%

    90 days SAC

    750 - 800

    Return Policy

    All merchandise being returned should be approved my management prior to being returned. Any special orders may not be returned.

    Returns are treated slightly differently in each building and depending on the merchandise to be returned.

    EXCHANGES: The merchandise being exchanged will be inspected and must be in the same condition as when it was received by the customer. Woodland Furniture reserves the right to deny full credit for any item based on the condition of the merchandise. In some cases, customers will be charged a restocking fee such as with rugs.

    REFUNDS: A refund is only issued in certain cases. For a full return to apply, the customer must have originally paid with check or cash.

    Sales receipts are required for any exchange or refund.

    All "AS IS" sales are final and are not covered by any warranty.

    Please ask your office staff if you need further information. Every case is dealt with on an individual basis and the terms listed above are only for general use.

    Wholesale Policy

     

    To Qualify to be a Wholesale Account:

     

    • Prior to purchase, at least one (1) week in advance, the new account must send all information to Woodland Furniture by fax or mail. This includes: Name, Address, Phone Number, Fax Number, Business Card, Tax ID Number and a copy of their Sales Certificate. Woodland Furniture then forwards this information to their accountant who verifies the business.
    • The new account must be a furniture dealer. For interior decorators to qualify, they must be a member of the American Society of Interior Designers or ASID certified. Home builders, office establishments, churches, or mobile home lots do not apply as tax exempt accounts.
    • A minimum opening order of at least $1500 is required for all new accounts.
    • All wholesale accounts must be paid by business check; no personal checks, credit cards, or finance payments.
    • After all qualifications are met as a wholesale account, then, and only then, are prices discussed.
  • All Persons Seeking Information About Wholesale should speak to Management.
